　　Xishuangbanna is a flat dam surrounded by mountains, located at the southern end of Yunnan Province, connected to Laos and Myanmar by mountains and rivers, and neighboring Thailand and Vietnam. It has jurisdiction over Jinghong City, Menghai County, and Mengla County. The Lancang River irrigates this green area, which is called the Mekong River after leaving the country. It flows through five countries including Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam before joining the Pacific Ocean, and is known as the "Eastern Danube". As can be seen from the map, Xishuangbanna is surrounded by two famous mountains on the east and west the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Between the mountains, there are patches of flat land, so there are bamboos with phoenix tails, and Dai stockaded villages surrounded by big banyan trees.

The land's compassion for humanity is evident everywhere, and faith is ubiquitous. Inclusive love is universal love. The gentle and tender Dai girls, leisurely Asian wild elephants, beautiful and colorful peacocks, lingering Dai cuisine, quaint and primitive Dai villages, natural and magical plant slaying, Theravada Buddhism and Southeast Asian customs, are like exotic 'little Thailand' - Xishuangbanna!
